Early wet flies flies used in Bass fishing:

Whenever I can I choose to fish for bass, saratoga, yellowbelly and silver perch but more often than not that the fish are holding deep and a surface fly is nor an option. These flies worked at the depth the fish are holding at are my 'go to' point flies.

This fly lends itself to being tied in different colours for different purposes ... this small black version works a treat as a point fly for bass;

Propeller bugger

In lighter colours a good search pattern for
yellowbelly and in darker colors a good option for bass and toga.;
