This is a great fly to rip through the water in front of Taylor, Australian Salmon and other pelagic or estuary fish. With legs it also works well on flathead, bream, whiting and EP’s. In bigger sizes it’s great for Tuna or Kingies offshore.

| B |
- Using a pair of pliers worry the retainer described above off.
- Wind the thread from behind the head to about 1/3 down the exposed hook shank and then half way back toward the molded head.
- Invert the hook in the vice and tie in a clump of white super hair so that it form a a tail that is about 1 to 1.5 times as long as the hook.
|
 |
| C |
- Rotate the hook right way up and tie in a bunch of contrasting colour super hair.
- Tie two strands of sparkle flash along each side of the fly to represent the lateral lines.
- Tie the thread off behind the molded eye and trim the excess.
- Mix up a small amount of 5 minute epoxy and apply that around the collar area where all the materials are tied in.
- Rotate the fly until the epoxy goes off so as to evenly disperse the epoxy around the collar of the fly.
