Alpha frog - pouring sequence

FROG BELLY WHITE

  1. Mix the white belly plastersol in the following proportions. 20 gr of recycled white, 10gr of liquid hard plastersol and 1 teaspoon of floatant powder.
  2. Make sure it well stirred and cook it up stirring it regularly.
  3. When it’s cooked start by covering up to the plimsoll line inside the mould.
  4. Make up a float from 3 layers of 2mm foam sheeting. White on the bottom, green on top and white or green on top. Make up several of these using clear plastersol smeared on each surface to be joined and the outside surface. Place the float in the middle of the belly area as shown in the photo.
  5. Then pour cooked white plastersol into the first of the two legs. Start just short of the tail and pour a line of white plastersol down to the body
  6. Repeat that on the second leg … by now the first pour of white plastersol should have gone off sufficiently to avoid the float floating upwards as you do the remaining pours.
  7. Fill the center part of the body matching up roughly to the level of white plastersol coming from the legs and the margins of the white plastersol poured in step 1.
  8. FROG BACK GREEN

  9. Fill the first leg.
  10. Fill the body up to just below the top of the mould.
