Fastach sinker

My Fastach sinkers as shown in different sizes below can be a very useful sinker for use in paternoster rigs in estuary and other  tidal coastal waters.

It is a round “hollow” lead weight in a range of sizes with a hole thought the sinker. Through that hole I add a length of doubled over 50lb fluorocarbon with a loop at one end of the sinker and a couple of loose ends at the other end.

The fluorocarbon is locked in using pliers /multi grips leaving a loop at one end that can attach to the fastach clip  and the tag ends are locked in the same way and the tag ends are melted away outside the hole in the sinker away with a gas cake burner

By using a different interchangeable Fastach Weights I have easily interchangeable  control over at what weight the baits will be presented.
