RUNNING SINKER RIG FOR BREAM, SNAPPER ETC.

THIS IS MY PREFERRED SET UP WHEN TARGETING SCROUNGERS SUCH AS BREAM, SNAPPER ETC. iTS MADE UP OF ONE OF MY 7 FOOT VENOM RODS MATCHED WITH A SHIMANO TWIN POWER 500 HG REEL LOADED WITH 30 lb BRAID BACKING AND 20LB FLUOROCARBON LEADER.

1. Tie  20cm of the fluorocarbon leader material to the tip of the braided backing with an allbright knot.
2. Feed the tag end of the allbright extension forward through the eye of the hook
3. Tie a small swivel to the end of that that.
4. Tie a 80 cm fluorocarbon leader o the front end of the swivel
5. Slide the running weight onto the business end of the leader.
6. The final step is to tie the selected hook to the front end of the flourocarbon leader.
7. Note that the running weight will move freely between the swivel and the hook.
