To the uninitiated getting started with flies can be a real hit and miss exercise. I know that when I started purchasing flies, well before I tied flies, I purchased many flies that I never caught a fish on. Some of those flies were flies that others said I had to have, they definitely were not. Others were flies that I purchased because I thought they looked pretty good, as it turned out only to me not fish.

It doesn’t matter of your a member or not you can actually use this web site to see detailed lists of flies for a wide range of fisheries.
