Paternoster rigs with fastach weight for whiting and other scroungers

I like this paternoster rig especially when targeting whiting in salt water rivers and other estuary waters.

Fastach sinkers area great option for the sinker in this rig .

HOW TO TIE

1. I start by tying a size#1 Fastach  clip onto the business end of my leader material from a spool 10lb fluorocarbon leader material.
2. 40cm above the Fastach clip I tie in a 30 cm dropper of the leader material.
3. A further 40cm above the first dropper I tie in a second 30 cm dropper of leader material.
4. Then 40cm above the second dropper I tie in a small swivel.
5. My braid backing is then attached to the opposite side of the small swivel.
6. The final step is to tie in my choice of hooks to the tag end of each dropper. For bream I prefer baits of marinated white chicken or fish flesh.
7. For bream I like size 4 red bait keeper hooks. For whiting   I prefer size 4 Shinto Pro long shank hooks in size 4 and baits of sand worms or fresh prawns.
