{{+1}}Barambah bony shad lure – swimbait{{-1}}

These are expensive lures at about $40 a pop but there are times when thay can be gamchangers so it would be a sham not to have one or two in you kit.
The Barambah Bony Shad Lure has interchangeable weights that allow anglers to set the depth. The slow to medium sinking shad can be fished from 1 foot to 30 foot. Simply change the position of the weights with the supplied screwdriver and weights.
A head-mounted tow-point and the realistic aluminium pectoral fins enhance the life-like swim action. Adding to the attraction is the built in drain holes in the weight chambers. Scent can be added here to entice a more aggressive attack.
The hard plastic shad body is articulated in 2 places, providing an irresistible swim action that’s just as real as the anatomically pleasant paint job.
The two I have settled on are:
Blueback is my daytime choice and has the form and function of a natural bony bream or other similar shaped bait fish. It's not a lure that I would tie on in the bright part of the day but it definitely gets a swim in the twilight hours. | Flouro pink is a stand out lure and is ideal for prospecting dirty water lines off points and at the back of deeper bays. If the water is not so deep you can fish it shallower by commencing the retrieve as the lure hits the water. |
I treat these lures as predominately deeper water prospecting lures and find that it's best to retrieve them at as slow a pace as possible to maintain the fishing depth.
