Single hitches done with a biro (remove the refill first)

Take a simple inside loop over the end of the pen.
B
Rotate the pen clockwise it will move up the thread to the eye of the hook.
Slip the open end of the pen over the eye of the hook.
C
Slide the pen out of the way pulling on the bobbing thread at the same time to tighten the knot.
