{{+1}}Samaki hardlicious vibe 110{{-1}}

Maneuvered up or down or held on the hang in front of barra I can see when I have my Garmin's set in "Perspective" mode I can see not only the lure but also moving fish. As long as the barra hangs around I am happy to hold the lure in its vicinity imparting just the smallest of movements with the rod tip. When a barra does decide to feel the offing in its mouth all hell breaks loose ... wow.{{end}}

I over-paint my Juggernaut's in two popular barra colours. The first is gold with black bars and the second is black with chartreuse bars. In each case the area where the light shines has two coats of undercoat so the the light is subdued but still faintly obvious to barra.{{end}}

One of my favourite past times is dusk and night fishing for big barramundi in Lake Awoonga. To be successful in the dark it's important to have the right gear at hand and knowing where each item is.{{end}}

{{+1}}Articulated bibbed barra baitfish{{-1}}
{{start}}
This fly is designed to be fished very slowly and is one of my favorite targeting flies for barra in Awoonga dam. It's not designed to represent any particular bait fish but it does have a shape, form and function similar to many of the little fish that barra target.{{end}}

{{+1}}Chatto’s minnow – brown bomber inspired{{-1}}
{{start}}
Hard body lures in brown bomber colour have earned a place as a popular lure colour combination for barramundi in estuary and coastal mangrove edged water. The same colour scheme is a great colour combination for flies used to target barra along the edge of mangroves.{{end}}

if I could only carry one colour mutant clouser that would be olive over UV shrimp. That one colour tied in a range of sizes covers a big cross section of fish that I target in Central Queensland.{{end}}
