Because Threadfin Salmon live in dirty water and have poor eyesight they have to rely on sensing prey with their very sensitive feelers so whatever bait you decide to use make sure that even at a slow speed they will be active with heaps of vibrations even when retrieved at a slow speed.{{end}}

This is a lure I have added to my Coastal and estuary lure box particularly for barred grunter. Grunter turn up in our estuaries and rivers during summer and will often stay there until heavy rain makes it too dirty for their liking. In times of low rain they may stay in their summer abode right through winter.{{end}}
